How do you showcase British Airways as the airline of choice from Europe to the U.S.?

THE IDEA

We enabled travellers to experience iconic U.S. destinations before booking their trip, using Oculus Rift virtual reality headsets and high grade 360-degree video. A virtual reality roadshow across Europe saw customers in key cities embracing the technology and riding a bucking bronco in Texas, roller-skating down the boardwalk on a Californian beach and ice skating in New York’s Central Park – all thanks to British Airways. To kick-start the proceedings, we recruited American TV personality and music star Nicole Scherzinger to share her virtual journey across the U.S. and developed a suite of multi-media materials.
